I write this poem to honor you on Father’s Day.
The words flow from my heart without delay.
You’ve been great to all of us over the years.
Today you deserve more than three cheers.
The origin of Elden ole chap is very British.
As a father, you exceed anyone’s wish.
You served our country in WWII without fame.
To honor you, Kevin carries your last name.
You loved teaching and did so for fifty years.
Texarkana College was your total sphere.
As a grandfather, you are without equal.
Perhaps one day, I’ll be your sequel.

Again, a nice tribute. I hate to vote on tributes but I will on this one. The flow of this poem is not quite there so I'll give it a 7. GW62
