Dada Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Dada

Dada

Surprised I was when
Saw my work in Masjid…
For a sect in Islam…
Known-unknown…
Did not want…

My account were handled
By Keizer of Bohra.

I never asked him of:
-what is root…?
In this line…

I am far above faiths
-their sectors, branches
I can cope with them all
-let them be part of us
-as people, human

But today had to search
-who are they with what base?

My colleagues were Turkish
One called me grandpa
In Turkish is Dada!

I liked it though can't be
He is old and I young!

I take it as respect
I feel it among them
Following their culture
Unlike it a long in the west
Is alive and kicking among them…

Selfishness?
I like them!
