Daily Mourning Deceased Life Long Lover Poem by Terence George Craddock

Daily Mourning Deceased Life Long Lover

Rating: 5.0

a beautiful poignant poem immortalizes
beauty sadness locked within memory encased objects
beloved gone yet remembered in love touched objects
once held in the hand of she who is loved beyond life;
in precious memories bound in twinkling music of her soul
bread of her past broken life leaving her lover desolate dead
yet her fingers once touched a glass still holds his heart
he was daily blessed by her hands and eyes his heart;

is entombed
in her still
captivating beautiful;
and wise in the blessing
of two delicately legendary
interwoven lives;

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Terry Craddock 23 December 2015

I am doing a lot of dedication poems at present, due to a lack of time, but I have always been interested in influences for poems, dedicating is fun and shows respect and appreciation. Yes I revisited our past poems and finally posted them on my site also, so many poems lost, nice to reclaim a few. This should be a better year coming, we finally have a home here in my sad open town busy closing down, with Solid Energy New Zealand Limited the state-owned New Zealand coal mining company losing over 500 jobs in the local Stockton mine and the local cement works closing this year, recession is on the horizon looming black in the Buller and perhaps I will eventually write about it. Warmest Regards to you and all friends and family for the holiday period and during Next Year Terry :)
