Dainty You Poem by Roland Jr Jamito

Dainty You

Rating: 5.0

Clueless
i wonder what other words to say
as you pass by like a distant star
just like a butterfly by the day
i am lulled to wonder who you are

Impressions
were all I had when I first lay
my eyes to melt with your stare
these words in my mind so I say
my feelings for me/to dare

Nifty
that is all I saw with your grace
like daffodils of the noon
or like stars on the evening lace
encircling the silver moon

Desired
and I longed for the sweetness you bear
such trees that missed robins to pass by
those dainty spells for you to appear
thrice I wished from fairies that fly by

Yearned
always I for your hand to hold
breeze from your hair my being to adore
when you smile for me to behold
indeed you keep me coming back for more

Great write, Roland... I'm sure readers will be 'coming back for more' as well! Brian
