Damn It All Poem by Francie Lynch

Damn It All

The shoreline
Has noticeable variations
After years
Of indistinguishable ripples
People wade in.
Roots are exposed;
Groins vanish under
Undulations;
A scenic road slips
Stone by stone
With waves of regret
And nausea,
Adding to a lake of remorse.
Damn it all.
