Damn To Serendipity!

Rating: 5.0

Finding the opaque prism,
Steering a bull by its horns,
Digging for water on Gobi,
Expecting peace in the East
Booking two tickets to Hendrix
Two minutes before he takes stage
at the Garden, in seventy-two,
for merely twelve dollars a seat,
front row, left-center stage,
a Stratocaster feet from your face,
with Jimi behind it, asking-
''Are you're Experienced''?

They say nothing is impossible,
though many things...improbable.
Yet, the element of 'strange'
is real, and a part of each our lives,
be it good strange or bad.
Ask the Mega Million Lotto winner,
or the winner who lost his ticket,
and I'm confident they'll both concur.
All you need is a dollar and a dream,
astute marketing for a government game.
My mantra is dream but breathe logically,
pluck your daises, but first do your math,
just never stop on 'she loves me not',
So if you failed Math like Einstein did,
take another flower and try it again.
Always drop your soil where sun and rain pour
but remember to never plant your very last seed
in between the cracks of a flagstone path.
