The dancing step,
The soft, delicate movements;
The gentle taps and subtle moves,
The languorous body easing into exhilaration;
The lucid fingers rotating into mystical Mudras!
Fingers with delicate patterns,
Fancy sculptor's angles,
Fine bends, chiselled and polished,
Finish that boasts of spectacular curves,
Fanning the breeze of beauty and allurement!
Magnetic Mudras!
Magnificent touch of rose petals,
Myriad emotions of joy and ecstasy,
Majestic postures that beckon
Musical voice and warmth of God's embrace.
I feel proud to be an Indian because it is the origin for various classical dance forms which is so unique in its own way. This poem not only represents mohiniattam but other dance forms as well
The body is a sculpture to begin with, and In this dance it is doubly sculpted into movements and postures. The word " magnetic" is used intriguingly...suggesting a soulful force field which animates the dancer's body and resonates with the viewer's soul. .
I’D LIKE TO SEE THE “SPECTACULAR CURVES” AND I AM NOT SPEAKING OF A RACE COURSE AT MONTE CARLO! ! ! actually, the costume obscures my view of certain curves. I ENJOY THE ALLITERATIONS HERE: Magnetic Mudras! Magnificent touch of rose petals, Myriad emotions of joy and ecstasy bri; :)
Every classical dance motivates mind and attract attention of others. Step by step this dance is performed well with trust and devotion. Magnificent touch of rose petals are felt well along with joy. A powerful and excellent poem this is. A nice photo is chosen as cover....10
