Dandelion Poem by Wei Chao

Dandelion

I am just a dandelion,
Sprout out...in the garden.
I am unwanted ugly weed,
Curse me…beg your pardon.

I've withstood storms, draughts, and abuses.
I'm brave…strong wild flower.
I've had bad emotional makeup,
My grit…I've my power.

The beautiful rose next to me,
She has...good upbringing.
Men want to give her a good home,
Hold bond…church bells ringing.

But, I'm just like other girls,
I want…his pledge, my plight.
The feeling of being appreciated,
By my…my dear Mr. Right.

I don't have control of my fate,
A visit…Mr. Right, soon pay.
Before, live out my destiny,
I pray to Lord, I pray.
