Dark Mirror Poem by Andy Brookes

Dark Mirror

don't sail to near the sun if you can't take the heat
narcissists only look for your adoration, little moth,
sucking you dry, see the corpses at her feet
but he took no heed and too soon joined them
still had a the shadow of a smile on his face

I mourned him.
