Darkness Poem by Lely Atempa

Darkness

The darkness that consumes me.
The darkness That hunts Me.
The Darkness That Follows me.
The darkness that hurts me.

Like I'm it's next meal.

I run and run.
It always knows where I am.
Where I go.
Where I Hide.

It's like a game of hide and seek,

But I always lose to this Darkness.
Trying to hide from the darkness in this world.
The evil collides with the darkness.

Oh No, Life slipping away.

My heart beating.
Thump. thump, thump.
Life on the clock.
Tic, tic, tic.

My life fading away.

The sounds of screams echoes in the wind.
The Darkness around in every corner.
Darkness hunting Under the shining moon.
Darkness howling in the midnight sky.

Such as like a wolf looking for it's pack.

The rush is a thrill.
The chase is outstanding.
But silence is terrifying.
Not even one sound.

Except for Breathing!

Darkness starts to come in.
Darkness starts to take over.
Darkness consumes souls.
The Darkness shows No Mercy.

That's the darkness that lays
Inside of me.
