Darkness Abounds Poem by Jo Lynn Ehnes

Darkness Abounds

Demons in the night,
thriving on my plight.
Haunting in my sleep,
fear they've come to reap.

Darkness does abound,
no light can be found.
Evil's stalking me,
snared I can not flee.

Games played with my mind,
terror's redefined.
Voices in my head,
filling me with dread.

Nightmares come to stay,
I've become their prey.
I'm in such despair,
trapped in Satan's lair.
