Darling Poem by Myrtle Thomas

Darling

Rating: 2.6

Darling

a kiss from lips sweeter than nectar
that promise a life time of comfort and pleasure
lips that form every word of love that I hear
speaking to me as a calm melody
every fiber cries for your touch
because you complete me like a bouquet to a vase
an image in a dream so eloquently portrayed
as we waltz through life
our arms are full
two hearts are one through a vow , but we are a pair
I hold you passionately body and soul, without a second thought
and will until death us do part
through out the good times and the bad
you were my foundation that kept me strong
love is passion that stands the hands of time
in the depth of blood, sweat and tears
we stand together until we stand alone
darling I love you and always will.

' A love letter to my better part.'
