All of my life, I've been waiting for some one close
I am suffering b'coz I am getting the same old dose
why dont I get what I want
why dont I find a whole new dawn
thinking of same things day and night makes me sick
my life needs some new kind of trick
my thoughts are jumbled and they are in a fix
and I want everybody to go out for a six
why dont I get what I want
why dont I find a whole new dawn
I am a bopper but right now I am in blues
where I am heading, I dont have any clues
sometimes I feel like I am gonna go insane
but I know its all gonna go in vain
why dont I get what I want
why dont I find a whole new dawn
I wish that my songs take a welcome turn
and life gives me a better lesson to learn
I wish my dreams and desires some day come true
and I have much better things in my life to do
hope that I get what I want
hope that I find a whole new dawn......
