Day Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Day

Day

Clock says: "It is day, "
Guess is not.

The days are full of light,
Rich of hope, are bright,
Now is not!

Everywhere is cloud,
The clouds are too dark,
Underneath have hangings,
See needles, nails, raining!

Poke myself to wake up:
"Must be dream and drum! "

Laugh at me:
"Have you gone crazy? "

Look at the messages,
"What are these? "

On Facebook a woman
Claims that: "Am soldier! "

On the phone have a text,
It tells me: "Are approved,
Just say yes! "

Read poem of friend,
His base is his father:
"He left us, went away,
I grew with mother…"

Story is like mine,
And I am the father.

The poet is injured,
And he is sick in bed,
His father appears,
On his cheeks run tears:
"Am for you my dear."
