Day Five Early October Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Day Five Early October

Rating: 5.0

A-fter the night is gone,
L-ight begins to shine;
F-illing your life with joy,
R-elieving pain from your mind.
E-ventide has passed by
D-ay five early October;
O-therwise the dusk will stay to be with your slumber.

O-ctober fifth early day
S-hadows are nowhere in sight;
I-nclement clime turns fine,
L-ight sets things
A-right.

R-ise of the sun begins,
O-pening the better day;
B-ecause of the beacon
R-ays take the chill away.
E-cstasy is truly brought,
G-iving a very good weather;
A-llow your heart to enjoy
D-ay five early
O-ctober.
