Day's End Poem by Raymond Farrell

Day's End

Gathered close
To the fading glow
Of the fire
That drew me in from snow
So gently falling
Outside moon beams
Set the ground aglow
Diamond-like reflections
On freshly fallen snow
Pure and undefiled
Tranquil moments end a winter's day
With a flickering fire
Whose flames dance and play
With sleep's desire.
