Dear Children Poem by Frank (Black) Blacharczyk

Dear Children

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech
but with actions and in truth*
The deafening sound of love lightens the load
Beginning has an end the end has a beginning
One step from insanity two steps into it
If only life would follow the script I wrote
But pages have been ripped out lines deleted
Like a sinking ship I fell on all fours
Looking for my dreams like fallen change
I prayed as I searched how could I lose
Trouble finds me even when I've made a deal with God
life plays tricks sometimes but when life plays its hand
it never loses never surrenders
The final scene the ending
The outcome depends on the bet
