Dear Grandma - Poem by Frederick J.B. Moore II

My dearest grandmother
As sweet as you were on earth
Of course you were sped
to the pearly gates
Then immediately welcomed in

Hows walking on the golden streets
Im sorry to say we all miss you here
But we know you'd want us to be strong

Everyone of us
Has our own memory of you to keep
And we'll never hold it weak

We'll be with you someday
Although we know you don't want us to rush
Tell God we say thank you
for your time with us

We're being strong
Like you know we can
One family together
Just like grandma said
