You came as a surprise
A wonderful gift from above
Anxiously waiting for your arrival
The excitement prolongs
We welcome you to the family
Another individual destined for greatness
Your place slowly creeping in our hearts
The reality sinking in our lives
So baby lay quietly
For when you get here
We will cradle your innocence
And embrace you with love
