Death Is So Terribly Final Poem by Lila Holmes

Death Is So Terribly Final

Rating: 5.0

Death is so terribly final
It symbolizes the end
Life could have been better without my fickle friend

Death is the period
in the last sentence
of a novel you've spent your whole life writing

Sure there's the afterlife
but that's just the epilogue
which no one reads anyway

Whether its intentional
or not
its still the end

Death depresses me
it could be spontaneous
or mean oblivion

Death is a stage in a cycle
A jack in a box
An unwelcomed guest

Death is the last question on a test you can't retake
It symbolizes the end
Death is so terribly final
