Deceiving Blindness Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Deceiving Blindness

Rating: 5.0

While this world revolves in violence
Brutality persists
Whilst Heaven seems clothed in silence
As if no God exists

Truth's stillness embraces deaf ears
Adorns blind eyes of fools
A plague without frontiers
Where God defiance rules

Man only needs to look within
Study one's self inside
Observe the world's consuming sin
Rebellion seeks to hide

There is a God, no matter what
Man's foolishness may say
Wisdom's true knowledge life's forgot
Along death's pending way

Overall, is our God to see
His handwork, crystal clear
Appears to each Heaven sets free
Through Jesus always near

Jesus, who was, who is to come
Jesus, God's living Word
Will teach the lost, make wise the dumb
Through facts they've never heard

Take up a bible, read it through
Pray God endow with sight
To see to drink Salvation's Dew
To walk in Glory's light

To fear the curse of death no more
To rise with Christ to live
By faith, knowing God for sure
Has endless love to give.....

There are times when a man's faith is shake and our limitations come to fore. But firmness of our faith will restore our equilibrium. Thanks.
