Decisions, decisions by the score
A crossroad appears different than those known before
No signposts to help, inner self has deserted
The decisions made will affect life as known
Times such as these inner self usually appears
On this occasion silence it keeps
A journey in planning knowing sorrow awaits
Turn left, turn right or straight ahead
No problems before when crossroads appeared
Why is this one so difficult to manoeuvre
The land of my Fathers once again calls
A journey is calling as it has before
Life and Death defying the law
Age and health looking for the unwary
Choices, decisions made can be scary
Inner health continually knocks at door
A feeling of scorn when door remains closed
The journey may bring yet more health problems
This visit has much more serious issues
standing at the crossroads of life
inner self appears and stands by our side
The decision made, straight on ignoring strife
Message sent, arrival hence
