Deep Love Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Deep Love

Rating: 4.0

Deep love

Thanks to you, the disease,
I am on balcony
Watching birds on a tree.

Each of them chirps away,
Sings a song for ballet…

I enjoy and get lost
Though the words, can't digest.

Why am I so useless?
I cannot find answer
And this is strange!

Keep thinking of loving
The birds like music,
Both, to me, are the things
Known, yet wild and able
To inject wilderness
As do the wolves' howl
When free in plains
And condors in sky
Wingspan in meters,
Same as ant under load,
Carrying large locust,
Climbing the tall wall
Going up, just to fall
And repeating the same
Till achieving success…

Walk back and sit in chair
Thanking unwanted guest,
Called: "Corona-Virus…"

Picture some lab in mind
Working on the vaccine
Everyone covered tight
In blue plastic…

I cry for mothers
Earth, Sky and Water…
