Deeper Blue Poem by Neil Graham Marsden

Deeper Blue

I call here to this place again,
to say those words unsaid.
To gently mask relentless pain,
take comfort from the dead.

A loss so patiently denied,
that holds past love sublime.
To overcome all that defied,
the ravages of time.

I’ll meet you there in sun-kissed lands,
where dark skies melt to blue,
When love will grasp your searching hands,
as I reach out for you.

Time will not melt our dreams away,
nor change the way we feel.
For closer moves that far off day,
When longing hearts reveal.

When finally the waiting ends,
and all else fades to grey,
two lost and parted, life-long hearts,
will join again that day.
