How do you define cool?
Is it the pretty girls
All dressed in pink,
With plastic smiles,
While they talk behind your back?

Or could it be him?
The kid in the back,
Head held low, mohawk high.
A Misfits shirt and spacers
Writing the girl in the pink a song?

Or could it be me?
No talent, just a pen in hand,
Smile on my face, singing along.
A bow in my hair,
And writing on my shoes?

Or could it be the nerd?
The random genius
Who is nice to everyone,
But made fun of,
Because he’s a little bit different?

Or maybe it’s the jock?
Tormented to be grate,
Make his daddy proud,
So he drinks all night
Just to ease the pain he feels?

How do you define the undefinable?
Plastic smiles, or drunken fights?
Love songs about a girl,
Or just plain kindness?
Is it the cloths, or the person in them?
