D-elightful kind of birth
I-s here to bring pleasure;
E-vening shadows disappear,
G-ray clouds won't stay
O-bscure.

B-irthday's big delight
E-ndorses a thousand thrill;
R-apture cheers the morning,
N-ew dawn denies the chill.
A-ugust seventh sunny day
R-ises to cause ecstasy;
D-arkness has just turned
I-nto a light for all to see.
N-ight so lonely has turned into a moment of mirth;
O-ne occasion so exciting, delightful kind of birth.
