Delusion Poem by Ravi Kopra

Delusion

Rating: 5.0

A lover cheats on love, shorthanded
she still wants to be friends.

Innocently, we pick a rotten apple
no sauce will it make, we still hope
if some cider could it make.

Hoping against hope we delude ourselves.
it's hard to give up the lost causes
when an investment has been made.

Especially of a hopeful heart.

Still on hope, the world revolves.

Someone Else - Poem by Jennifer Birchall

I'm lying to myself I think
How can we be friends
When I know your heart will belong to someone else
I still want it, I still want your love
Your going to build a new life with someone else
I want our life, the one we created
I'm trying to put my broken self back together
Then it hits me, your love for me has gone
And someone else will receive it
I want to be someone else

Dear Ravi my rational side totally agrees with you but my irrational side wants to go back to the status quo, rather than go through the pain of heartache, even though I know its wrong. This love isn't easy is it. A wonderful poem Ravi, thank you for sharing.
