Delusional Love Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Delusional Love

Rating: 5.0

It was over
But it still lingered
Because heart watered it
A dead plant with faded edges
Chipped leaves hanging against will
It was over but the eyes closed their vision
Hoping to conjure up images of revival
Promise of flowering was a crystal jar
Its fragility needed a single knock
Goodbye escaped the ribcage
It was over since long.

One can flawlessly feel your pain and the inner battle fund with sentiments that go back and forth so difficult to explain. But that reach the reader in their entirety with a very sad but comprehensible refrain.
