Of a Merck Manual I got hold –
A manual one hundred years old.
I laughed loud at some procedures told,
And at toxic medicaments untold.
Then I foresaw that a hundred years hence,
The manuals that today make sense
Would pale next to knowledge more immense.
Thus my demeanour quick lost defense.

Very wise and deep thinking, I stand absolutely beside you. A short wonderful poem expressing more than a trailing essay. Maybe the wheel turns back and we would use some remedies of old Egypt.
