Denis Savard: A Chicago Blackhawks Legend

  He was an NHL superstar in Chicago
known for the “Savard Spin-o-rama.”
He scored thirteen hundred points
in his long and lustrous career.

He had twelve consecutive seasons
with at least twenty-three goals.
In Montréal, he won a Stanley Cup
and still put up very good numbers.

His last season was with Chicago
where he made a name for himself.
He made it into the hall of fame
and his number eighteen was retired!

Great poem Sir Fischer.
I like all Chicago teams and players but i sure wish the Cubs would win their pennant and then the World Series, but i'll probably never live to see that day.Wll at least the White Sox did it in my lifetime.
