Dentata

Rating: 5.0

The big 'stick' you're on
while waiting for waves
in Northern New South Wales,
gives you a chance against a shark;
the number of survivors inspirits.

But the little one you wave around
in the forests of the leopards of Lanka,
unaware they're there,
gives you little chance;
survivors do not abound.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
the biggest leopards in the world are the top-of-the-chain leopards of Sri Lanka. N.NSW is a hot spot for shark attacks.

I think the prospect of being eaten alive is not a good. Either leopard or shark both are good hunters.

Giving chance with survival is wise always. Waiting for such waves is interesting really.10
