Depression. Poem by Kayla Bryant

Depression.

Rating: 5.0

Words can't explain this sadness,
don't ask me to explain.
When you've been dropped this far,
it's too hard to get back up again.
Razor goes deeper, day by day
scarred arms hidden once more.
Friends for support? Not really,
Locked lies behind a locked door.
Black and white that's what this is.
A rainbow never seemed so dull,
beautiful colors fade to grey.
Depression....
It is cruel.

Put down the blade. Pick up the pen. You have depth. You have something to say.
