Depression Poem by Alla Bozarth

Depression

This is a chance
to drink deep
from the Source Well
and take time to absorb
every possible dropp
of meaning.

This is a chance
to go down deep, deep
to that sacred
place where, in pitch
darkness and under
immense pressure,
diamonds are born.

This poem is in the book, This Mortal Marriage: Poems of Love, Lament
and Praise by Alla Renée Bozarth, iUniverse 2003. See 'Diamonds Are
Borne' in PoemHunter with additional lines at the beginning as the poem
will appear in other books. All rights reserved.
