Desert Trails Poem by Tlou Romeo

Desert Trails

I stood firmly in the desert of love, besides me was the blazing wind of hatred seeking the acquaintance marks of beloved woman. I heard the praise of gullible soil, mourning the scares of love across the face of one thought to be a blessing. I accurately marked the reflection of opposite shadow, hidden beneath the layers of forced love. Then I started asking the questions of forgiveness. I took a step forward and noted the disappointment across the trampled rose. I dusted the tears off my face, as I held the hand of the dead and wondered the rest place of the wind, though I might find the ignited mark of the undo. Whispered were the desert hills, looking opposite wind direction, though taught to fear truth. I looked backward and discovered hash truth, though forgotten by the soil of love was I who walked firmly on it.
