I yearn for you,
You who coloured my heart 
With the colours of the rainbow,  
With great passion
I long to share moments with you,
To renew my strength in your words; and
To find solace in your faithful arms.
I yearn for you,
You who gave comfort when i craved,  
Who brought life to my dying soul; and
Braced my spirit,
Who lightened up my world
With titanic courage; and
Replenishes my drought each time i called.
I yearn for you,  
You who kept the fire burning in me;  
Who filled my emptiness with sweetness
And holds me still; till i found my feet
How i long to refresh in your warmth,  
To be closer again
To one who lifts my head; and
To relish in the rhythms of those words 
Which got me addicted;  
With the whole of my heart,
I yearn for YOU!
