Devi Annapoorna Stotram - Part 2

Rating: 5.0

O Annapoorneshwari Devi! One who is the commander -
Of the perceivable and non-perceivable beings,
One who absorbs into herself the affairs of the whole Universe,
One who draws the curtain on the dramas of this world,
One who lights the lamp of knowledge,
One who delights the heart of Sri Vishvesha!
One who resides in the holy city of Kaashi,
O Devi, compassionate and merciful as ever,
Bestow grace and benevolence as food, in my begging bowl!

O Annapoorneshwari Devi!
Great One! The Goddess of all people!
Bhagavati - the Goddess who nourishes and supplies food
One whose dark blue tresses are adorned with flowers,
One who provides food every day,
One who blesses with happiness each day,
One who affords shelter during each change of period,
One who resides in the holy city of Kaashi,
O Devi, compassionate and merciful as ever,
Bestow grace and benevolence as food, in my begging bowl!

O Annapoorneshwari Devi! One who can be lauded from the word A to Z
For the beauty of form anu
In the process of Srishti -Stithi -Samhara
Of creation - maintenance - dissolution:
Famed as Kashmira, Trijaleshwari, Trilahari,
Nityamkura, Sharvari - endowed with all aspects of nature:
One who fulfills the aspirations of all people:
One who resides in the holy city of Kaashi,
O Devi, compassionate and merciful as ever,
Bestow grace and benevolence as food in my begging bowl!

O Annapoorneshwari Devi! Sparkling with varied gems!
O fantastic Goddess! Proficient in music, dance and literature,
Maheshvari - the Goddess of luck,
The adorable Goddess of her bhaktas
Guarding and protecting her bhaktas at all times!
One who resides in the holy city of Kaashi,
O Devi, compassionate and merciful as ever,
Bestow grace and benevolence as food in my begging bowl!

Annapoorneshwari Devi is the commander of fortune for humanity and she brings beauty of wealth at home. She gives grace to win and she is compassionate and merciful for us ever, Scriptural view about Goddess is beautifully presented in this prayer poem...10
