Devoted to You

All the affection's
Filled in my heart
Like a full vessel
That spills not
Never did I
Express in words
All my hidden
Feelings of love.

Time passed
Moments into minutes
Minutes into hours
Hours into days
Weeks
Months
And years
Disappeared
Into the past
Like dazzling
Flashes of
Lightning in the sky

It was your support
And constant encouragement
That made me reach
A new height of satisfaction.

Years we floated
Harmoniously together
As couple in a boat
In the sea of life
I cherish them all
To my heart's content
And for all the years ahead
I'll always be
Totally devoted
To you.

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
