Diary Of Despair Poem by Danny, James Archer

Diary Of Despair

Rating: 5.0

And there it is, our 'relationship' summed up
in three crosses at the end of a letter.
'I used to love you' past tense.
'I used to trust you'... I feel no use for hyperbole.

Entwined our lives, now fall apart.
I feel my fingers caress your hair.
My love for you breathes up your heart.
And now cold breathe is in the heir.

I have ink on me, when I look it reminds me of us.
Of you.
I never took into account the sunglass smile.
The way you look without, was of true denial.
And all I want is us to be true.

Honestly. A word that may never have existed.
and had such coinages been left out
would it exist? or have another name?
'please be mandarin! '

Lyrical displays. Im at your windows now.
I want us to be happy, well me.
I fell the tired eyes leave this town.
But your eyes have not left me.

Dont do that, the cracks are the best bit.
Our love is characterised by this, you hate me?
What do you mean a crazy look.
When I look in the mirror I look TRUE.

Of course i know your name still...
It is always going to be with me.

I am not the word smith, I look at beauty.
I am not a truth teller, I am a truth receiver.
I am not a rule breaker, I break the cliche's
I am not for me, I am not for you!

End should be spelt with a capital letter.
