Did You Call? Poem by Phil Soar

Did You Call?

I don't recall you passing by
Did you knock on my door?
Perhaps I need a hearing aid
Then I'd answer it for sure
My ears aren't what they used to be
Now that I've aged a lot
And if you'd maybe shouted me
Perhaps I'd reply "What? "
