Didn't notice
You asked me today,
Just how i was,
I said i'm fine,
but there was no truth.
I thought by now you'd recognise,
The lies i tell, That's
Thought of as truth.
You didn't notice;
My shaking hand,
My shaking arm,
My shaking head.
You only noticed,
Thw words I spoke,
The look on my face,
The fake smile that's glued.
So ask me how i feel again,
Ask me this time to tell the truth,
Try to see beyond the words,
and listen to how i speak.
