They said you’re not one of them
But you continued to do so, heartily
Your kith had a hand in their edifice
Although you were never to live there
For their labour has never been a sacrifice
They said they were different
They said you cannot run the office
They turned your friends into your foes
They turned the hearts of kith and kin
They said you are not one of them
They shall seek your counsel and kneel.
