Different Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

Different

Rating: 3.0

We are
Sharply different
Each from each
Something within us insists

But the hand does not stop reaching
for the pepper mill the same

We are the same-

The same at bottom convinced

As are the
Cattle that come
To the salt
Lick
