Digital Dreaming Poem by Matthew Holloway

Digital Dreaming

Digital dreaming
through the glare of a screen
downloaded distractions
steady the stream of non thought
the rattle of the key bard
a late night writers soundtrack
almost breaks the silence
the near emptiness of the night
still alive, awake to it all
the screen illuminates the writer
whose dreams are but
a scroll down
