Dilemma of a nobody Pt.4

Hey look at my suit
of pink armour!

I mean that's what I am,
and how I envision myself,

Naturally I was born to
be like this,

My blue blue eyes and all
my training come together,

And that's why you should
look at my face on the cover,
of the new playlist mag.

Or come and visit me
live on stage,
watch my films,

I will serve up lines,
like hot plates,
or even become minimalist,
then use my vague exterior,
to show what can be done
with the face,

Ah! so beautiful!
and impeccably complex,

However:

The so called poet
who just wrote this,

Is finding his own act
just a little bit harder
to follow,

like what am I?

And watches every little
nuance, as if one could
actually get to the heart
of existence and actually
live it,

Hence why I hope that
not everybody sees this
as an act,
hoping to finish the next
line, as if I truly know
where I'm going...

Because this world stage
is not the right shape
or place, for someone Like
me, right now...

Who can no longer stand
this thing inside which
keeps breaking open,

As if the whole of living life,
was born out of concealment,

and the page -

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
