Dilemma Of My Soul Poem by Osazee Dankaro

Dilemma Of My Soul

I fear for my soul.
That it may not end in the fiery pit
After my many sins are uncovered
And it is laid bare
For All
For God.

I fear for my life.
That it may not end without a mighty impact
That it may not end at all
For life's pleasures are unending
And to die
Completely unfathomable

I fear for my soul.
Life's joys are only momentary
To compare with the perpetual burning
Of my flesh, my bones and my heart
Yet, against the run of everything
I fear more for my life, than for my soul
