Dimensions Of Time Poem by Ravinder Kumar Soni

Dimensions Of Time

I do not dig into my past,
I cannot revive it.
You want me to narrate my experience,
Beginning from the past,
My past, you know, will not return,
To pester or spoil me.
I cannot bask in the memory of my past,
Incoherent, it might be now.
My present seems worse as it turns into the past,
It gives me pain, only pain;
It reminds me of my foolishness,
And incomplete tasks,
I am not able to identify my flaws and failures,
Nor have I learnt a lesson from my past,
There never was any review either.
The clean rivers are filthy, the air unbreathable,
And the ground I stand on is not firm,
I do not know
To which shore could I drag my dreams
Whether I have strength left in me to face the future.
You gave me a puzzle to solve,
Expected me to find the dimensions of Time
And its ramifications.
I can find those dimensions beyond the range of Time.
