Do you want to leave it there?
Is that what you think?
We may disagree but not dislike
that it seems too little to care
even if it leaves you bare
pretend if you will
that you haven't had your fill
but we both know it's done
and we're ready to run
it's over, but let's not lie
and say it was quick
because it was slow
and we remember ever blow
disappointment, pain, discomfort, that we saw
and how they left us feeling raw
we can disagree and not want it true
but don't deny it or give it its due
