Dissolved Poem by tess fielders

Dissolved

DISSOLVED

Languishing in feast supplied
Never to see it bare

And while I played
To gorge some more

Stretching laughing dreaming on

Winds of tolerance
Friendship fair

I searched in vain
To find her still

I’m gasping with the blow

Illusions of our happy play
Dissolved in youthful glare
