Distant Love Poem by Joanna Kantharia

Distant Love

Rating: 5.0

Aren’t your eyes painfully mourn?
Taking my peace depart the groan;
Sprinkle your love, bless me I pray,
I do need you, come what may.

Aren’t your arms searching me?
Reach my soul and unfold your wings;
I do wonder why the space,
Isn’t the shore blessed with waves?

Aren’t there desires underneath your heart?
There are my, tears like dewdrops fall;
Give me a word to let me know,
Am I there locked in your thoughts?

Aren’t you staying, from love so far?
Please don't sulk, when the days are past;
All I know and all I care is,
That distant love will take my life away...
