Diver Poem by Charl JF Cilliers

Diver

From rocks where every-
day fisherman cast
their lines

on this rare
occasion I dive
into the sea

break the white surface
of water where
the fish live
that dart away
from me

hover in this strange place
a dark thought
in bright shoals of words.
